If you say no to fingerprinting, be prepared for a physical beating, or having your fingers broken, or being shut up in a holding cell until you submit.
"It's time for fingerprints."
"No, I refuse. They are my property."
"Okay, have it your way, but you won't get out of this jail until we've got your prints."
"Okay, then I guess I'll submit."
Whatever position you take, whether you submit to fingerprinting or not, STAND FIRM. They are going to be full of trickery, but you must make your "yea," yea, or your "nay," nay. Don't let them intimidate or frighten you out of the decision you've made:
"We're going to break your fingers if you don't give us those prints."
"Whether you break them or not, I'm not giving them to you, at least not voluntarily. And if you do break my fingers, then you're the one who must answer for it."
They are going to try to instill as much fear into you as possible. Fear causes most people to back down and try to save their lives. But if you try to save your life, you'll lose it. Matthew
